Privacy Policy.

Hyperstition operates a non-custodial web interface (the “Interface”) for creating and trading tokens on the Base blockchain. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Interface, how we use it and the choices you have.

Hyperstition does not control your wallet, does not hold your assets and cannot reverse transactions. Every transaction is signed and submitted by your own wallet software.

• Wallet information. The public address of the wallet you connect, and the public blockchain transactions associated with it (trades, launches, claims). We never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
• Content you submit. Token names, tickers, descriptions, social links and images you provide when launching a token. Images are pinned to IPFS and are public and permanent.
• Communications. Messages you send us, for example by email.
• Device and usage information. IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you visit and basic performance data, collected through standard hosting logs.
• Browser storage. Preferences kept in your browser, such as your theme choice and the last wallet you connected.

We receive information directly from you (when you connect a wallet, launch a token or contact us), automatically from your browser and device, from public blockchains (which anyone can read), and from the service providers listed below.

• To operate the Interface: show balances, build transactions, display launches, trades and charts.
• To attribute launches and creator rewards to the wallets that own them.
• To moderate content that violates our terms or applicable law.
• To respond to your requests and support questions.
• To monitor performance, prevent abuse and keep the Interface secure.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we process information because it is necessary to provide the Interface you asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in running, securing and improving it, because you consented (for example when you upload an image), or because a legal obligation requires it.

Base is a public blockchain. Transactions you submit through the Interface, including your wallet address, the tokens you trade or launch and the amounts involved, are recorded permanently and can be read by anyone. Hyperstition cannot edit or delete on-chain data. Our indexer reads this public data to build the pages you see.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

• with infrastructure providers who host and run the Interface on our behalf (see below);
• when required by law, regulation, legal process or a governmental request;
• to protect the rights, safety or property of Hyperstition, our users or the public;
• with your consent or at your direction.

The Interface relies on services operated by others, each with its own privacy policy:

• Vercel (web hosting and logs)
• Base and its RPC providers (blockchain access), Basescan (block explorer links)
• WalletConnect / Reown and the wallet you choose (wallet connections)
• Pinata and IPFS gateways (token images)
• Chainlink price feeds and Uniswap v4 (on-chain price data)
• Farcaster and the Base app, when you open the Interface as a mini app

Wallets and blockchain services linked from the Interface operate independently of Hyperstition.

Hyperstition and its wallet or infrastructure providers may use local storage, cookies and similar browser technologies to remember your preferences and keep wallet sessions working. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings; the Interface keeps working, you may just need to reconnect your wallet.

Off-chain information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Hosting logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period. Public blockchain records and content pinned to IPFS persist indefinitely and are outside our control.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your seed phrase private; nobody at Hyperstition will ever ask for it.

Hyperstition and its providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@hyperstition.family. We cannot alter on-chain data or content already pinned to IPFS.

Hyperstition does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information.

The Interface is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as the Interface or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top tells you when it was last revised; material changes may also be announced on the Interface.
